Public Education Ministry starts to test new foreign language books
From 2013-2014 academic languages, foreign languages are taught in Uzbek schools from the first class. So, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan works on developing curriculum and manuals for schools.
Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan said that new educational-methodical complexes in English, German and French languages for the pupils of the second classes were developed. The complexes include book and notebook, methodical recommendations for teachers, as well as multimedia materials in discs. The complexes will be tested in 100 schools across Uzbekistan.
The ministry said that Uzbekistan publishing house printed 2,500 copies of books and notebooks, as well as 200 books for teachers and 200 copies of discs with multimedia materials, which were delivered to schools for testing.
The educational-methodical complexes in German and French languages were developed in electronic forms and delivered to the schools.
After testing, it is expected that the complex will be improved based on proposals and recommendations of teachers.
