Public Education Ministry and Justice Ministry to cooperate in the field of improving the legal literacy of the population

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Public Education and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a cooperation program to improve legal literacy and culture of the population.

Within the framework of the program, the ministries will cooperate in ensuring the supremacy of law and the implementation of legislation in the field of public education, the broad promotion of legislation in this field, and the improvement of legal literacy and the culture of the younger generation.

At the same time, the parties will cooperate in organizing the work of employees in the field of public education in accordance with labor laws.

The parties plan to work on improving the anti-corruption system and “moral behavior” in public education institutions throughout Uzbekistan, as well as on a system of quick and anonymous reporting of corruption cases.

The Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan has been given the task of raising the status, honor and dignity of teachers in society. As part of the program, ministries plan to hold events with the participation of students and parents in this area.

The parties also agreed to cooperate in promptly responding to messages on social networks for shortcomings and problems in the field of education.

Ministries will prepare and distribute materials aimed at explaining the essence of laws in the field of public education.

As part of the program, it is planned to hold events such as the Month of Legal Literacy and special classes on improving legal literacy in schools. Schools will implement training programs for future lawyers.

It is expected that this joint project will promote cooperation between the Ministries of Public Education and Justice in the field of legal advocacy, ensuring the rule of law, as well as raising the legal awareness and culture of the younger generation.
