Providing natural and liquefied gas to the population discussed in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July 2019, a dialogue of the management of Uztransgaz with representatives of the media was held at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.
During the dialogue, an exchange of views took place on the uninterrupted supply of the population and wholesale consumers with natural and liquefied gas, preparations for the autumn-winter season 2019-2020, changes in the gas supply system and general problems of the sphere.
The event presented information on the plan for the preparation of farms of the regional gas supply departments of Uztransgaz for the uniform provision of consumers with natural gas in the republic (on 25 February 2019) and the developed address program for the repair and reconstruction of gas pipes in 2019.
In accordance with the Program:
overhaul of 20.1 km of gas pipes was carried out;
44.4 km of gas pipes were reconstructed;
A technical audit of 38,268 gas distribution points;
3,345.2 km of gas pipes were checked for tightness under pressure and cleaned with air pressure;
3 362.5 km of underground gas pipes were checked;
1 228.5 km of gas pipes were painted.
According to the plan, the completion of work on the preparation for the autumn-winter season is scheduled for 1 October.
In order to eliminate deficiencies in the gas distribution system, reduce the amount of technological losses in the supply of natural gas to consumers, introduce modern energy-saving gas equipment of Uztransgaz, new standards are being introduced into the gas distribution system. Taking into account the experience of developed countries, practical work is being carried out to transfer the 3-stage gas distribution system (high, medium, low) to a 2-stage system (high, low).
The first project was implemented in the U. Yusupov makhalla of the Kibray district of the Tashkent region. In 189 houses of this mahalla gas supply is transferred to a 2-stage system.
In order to control the gas consumption using the ITRON online program, a special monitor has been installed in the dispatching service of the district gas pipeline.
In each house, a gas leak detector and a gas intoxication detector (a total of 189 pieces) are installed. If the gas concentration is exceeded or gas leakage is reached, this detector automatically stops the gas supply and warns about this by an audible signal.
When comparing the electronic gas meters installed at the entrance to the houses with those installed directly in the houses, the loss was 1 percent.
In order to make rational use and reduce unnecessary gas costs, gas burners without automatic safety mode in boilers used in 280 houses in the village of Khonobod, Syrdarya district, Syrdarya region, have been replaced by modern gas burners with safe automatic heat control in an experimental manner.
As a result of the installation in the multi-storey buildings of the city of Gulistan 2-loop gas equipment with a closed burner that provides hot and cold water, in each apartment it was possible to control the temperature.
It is planned to introduce the Automated system of control and accounting of natural gas for all categories of consumers by 2022.
According to the data, Uzbekistan plans to supply 468,046 tonnes of liquefied gas to consumers. In January-June 2019, it was planned to supply 232,136 tonnes of liquefied gas. In practice, this figure was 227,185.2 tonnes (97.9%), or 4,950.8 tonnes less than the planned volume. In the 3rd quarter of this year, 117,490.0 tons of supplies are planned, in the 4th quarter - 118,420.0 tons of liquefied gas.
