Protection of youth from negative impact of mass culture discussed in Samarkand
Members of UzLiDeP, youth movements, teachers and students of Samarkand branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies, and others participated in the dialogue.
UzLiDeP member Sardor Lukmonov said that it is important to protect youth from various information attacks and alien ideology, which negatively impact to perception of the youth. He said that the event is directed at forming spiritual immunity and realizing measures in these directions.
It was said that Uzbekistan adopted several laws, directed at protecting youth and right of children, as well as their harmonic development.
It was noted that Uzbekistan widely introduces modern technologies. As of 1 January 2014, number of internet users rose by 18.3% year-on-year and reached 7.1 million people. It was said that local internet websites should be developed and it is necessary to form media culture.
At the event, the participants discussed reforms in education sector and formation of harmonically developed persons.
During the event, UzLiDeP’s local council decided to adopt an action plant directed at protecting youth from negative impact of mass culture and attracting youth to sports, providing them assistance.
