Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A project “Organization of production of alkylbenzene for synthetic detergents” based on raw materials from the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant, which is expected to be launched this year, is a promising highly effective project.
A number of technology licensees have expressed interest in joint implementation of the project, including the well-known American oil and gas company Honeywell UOP.
The negotiations, carried out via videoconference with the American company, were aimed at studying the possibilities of implementing the joint project "Organization of production of alkylbenzene for synthetic detergents".
Within the framework of the project, a technological license for the launch of the technology, basic design configurations, the supply of technological units and catalysts, advanced training of working personnel and project financing were discussed.
The proposals voiced by the experts were carefully studied, and at the subsequent stages of the negotiations it was decided to draw final conclusions.
As a result of the discussion, the specialists of Honeywell UOP recognized that the commissioned capacities of the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant will create opportunities for the implementation of new gas chemical projects and will enhance the position of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the fuel, energy and gas chemical spheres of the Eurasian region.
Honeywell UOP has participated as a contractor of technological stations and technological units in more than 20 projects implemented in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
