Prospects for Cooperation Discussed with Webster University Leadership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 September 2025, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Kungirotboy Sharipov, held a meeting with the leadership of Webster University.
The meeting focused on the results of ongoing cooperation, the university’s activities, and plans for campus expansion.
The minister noted that since the launch of joint programs in 2019, the number of students has grown from 360 to 6,500. Over the past three years, the university’s graduates have increasingly entered the labor market. This year, the university admitted 2,850 students.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for further collaboration.
Sharipov emphasized that bilateral relations are developing steadily and expressed confidence that dialogue would continue at the upcoming International Quality Assurance Forum (IQAF), scheduled to take place in Tashkent on 19–20 September.
