Prosecutors of Uzbekistan and Russia sign agreement on cooperation
Yuriy Chayka expressed gratitude to Rashitjon Kadirov for high level oforganization of the SCO summit of the Prosecutor-Generals. He said that all conditions were created for fruitful work of all participants of the summit.
Speaking about relations between prosecutors of two states, Chayka underlined that they are constructive. At the same time, he said that the sides should boost cooperation in fighting with crimes.
During the meeting, the Prosecutor-Generals of Russia and Uzbekistan signed an agreement of cooperation.
The document envisages cooperation on actual directions between prosecutor bodies of two states, including protection of human rights and freedoms, fight crimes, terrorism, corruption and illegal turnover of weapons and drugs, economic crime, etc.
Yuriy Chayka said that the agreement will help to raise efficiency of cooperation between prosecutors of two nations.
In his turn, Rashitjon Kadirov said that signed agreement is an important event as prosecutors of Russia and Uzbekistan are fruitfully with each other for a long time in various issues. He said that the agreement will give stimulus to cooperation.
