Projects for US$300m to be realized in Namangan region

The list includes 34 projects, which will be implemented in Kosonsoy, Namangan, Pop, Turakurgon, Uychi, Chortoq, Chust, Yangikurgon districts and Namangan city.

It is planned to attract foreign investments for realization of proposed projects for US$299.5 million. Ten projects for US$60.7 million are implemented now, 10 projects with the cost of US$117.3 million are developed and 14 projects worth US$121.5 million are perspective ones.

In particular, modern clinics will be created in Namangan city with South Korean investors. Production of small vehicles will be launched in Pap district with the Chinese investors.

Manufacture of yarn, latex and nitrile gloves will be organized in Uychi district together with investors from Turkey. Biogas production will be launched in Chust district together with investors from the Russian Federation.

It is also planned to organize a plant for production of cement in Yangikurgan district jointly with investors from China.

Investment Hub in Ferghana region will be a center for accumulating direct investments for three regions – Namangan, Ferghana and Andijan.
