Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The customs authorities are carrying out targeted work to identify and combat offenses in the field of customs law, the press service of the State Customs Committee.

In the case of the revealed violation, there were discrepancies between the imported goods and the information contained in the shipping documents. Simply put, an attempt was made to conceal some imported goods from customs control.

At the customs post of foreign economic activity “Tashkent-Commodity” of the Tashkent city customs department, during customs inspection of automobile spare parts imported from abroad, it was revealed that the number of some spare parts was actually more than what was stated in the shipping documents. And some were not stated in the documents at all. And also, it was revealed that 2376 units of automotive spare parts of 6 types were classified under other names and codes. The total value of goods hidden from customs control amounted to 313 million 800 thousand soums.

Currently, customs checks are being carried out on the fact of violation.
