Production trailers and semi-trailers to be launched in Namangan region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian company Orsky trailer builder intends to build a plant in Naryn district of Namangan region to produce a wide range of trailers and semi-trailers with a lifting capacity from 2 to 24 tons.

To implement the project, Russian partners are ready to make direct investments in the amount of US$3 million.

In March 2019, the owner of the Orsky trailer builder, Alexander Malyshkin, and the Director of Orsky trailer builder, Yevgeny Shovkun, together with representatives of the Embassy, khokimiyat of Naryn District, Uzagrolizing, visited the location of the future production and discussed issues related to the construction of the plant.

In addition, the Russian partners familiarized themselves with the activities of the enterprises operating in the region and the textile production cluster. During meetings with senior officials of local tax and customs authorities, statistics and housing and public utilities departments, the Russian side was presented comprehensive information on the trade and economic potential of the region, fiscal and other benefits and preferences operating here, and conditions for doing business.

Negotiations were held in Tashkent with representatives of Uzavtosanoat and Uzagrotekhsanoatholding joint-stock companies, at which issues of expanding mutually beneficial investment cooperation and industrial cooperation were discussed.

Following the results of the meetings and negotiations, the parties signed a “Road Map” for the project implementation.

It is planned that construction work will begin in 2019, and the enterprise itself will be commissioned in 2021.
