Production of Turkish armored vehicles to be established in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzavtosanoat and Turkish company Nurol Makina ve Sanayi AS signed a memorandum of understanding, which envisages organization of joint production of 1,000 tactical armored vehicles Ejder Yalçın 4x4 in Uzbekistan.
The document was signed during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey, Anadolu Agency reported.
According to the document, the parties will sell armored cars to third countries. Uzbekistan plans in the initial stage to purchase 24 armored vehicles.
Turkey started to produce tactical armored vehicles Ejder Yalçın in 2014. The Turkish security forces widely use them in all regions.
