Production of Rubber and Plastic Products in Uzbekistan Exceeds 12.9 Trillion Soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–August 2025, the production of rubber and plastic products in Uzbekistan reached 12.9 trillion soums, according to the National Statistics Committee. This represents a 19.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
The largest share of production traditionally came from the city of Tashkent, where products worth 4.6 trillion soums were manufactured. Enterprises in Tashkent Region contributed 3 trillion soums, and those in Fergana Region produced 1.3 trillion soums. In Samarkand Region, production amounted to 925.9 billion soums, in Sirdaryo Region — 822.3 billion soums, and in Namangan Region — 469.2 billion soums.
In other regions, figures ranged from 53.9 billion soums in Surkhandarya Region to 555.3 billion soums in Andijan Region.
In Navoi Region, 303.5 billion soums worth of products were produced over eight months; in Jizzakh Region — 289.3 billion soums; in Bukhara Region — 220.4 billion soums; in Khorezm Region — 113.3 billion soums; and in Kashkadarya Region — 104.5 billion soums.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, production reached 134.5 billion soums.
