Procedure for Training Courses for Notary Candidates Approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Justice has registered the Regulation on the Procedure for Organizing Mandatory Training Courses for Candidates for the Position of Notary at the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel (registration number 3721, December 9, 2025).

The document establishes the rules for preparing future notaries and will come into force on April 1, 2026.

According to the Regulation, candidates undergo 72 hours of training based on a contract concluded with the Institute. Courses may be conducted either in person at the Institute or in a remote format.

Applications for training are accepted throughout the year in both electronic and written form.

The educational process is organized in academic groups of up to 25 people and includes lectures, seminars, and practical sessions lasting 80 minutes each.

A special commission is formed to conduct the examinations. At the end of the courses, participants take an interview-style exam, evaluated on a 100-point scale.

Certificates are issued to those who score 56 points or more.
