Procedure Approved for Awarding the Badge “Devotee of Social Protection”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved the procedure for awarding the badge of honor “Ijtimoiy himoya fidoyisi” (“Devotee of Social Protection”). Resolution No. 715, dated 11 November 2025, establishes the relevant Regulation defining the process for conferring this distinction.

Nominations for the award are submitted annually to the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan by 20 April.

Based on the conclusion of the selection commission, the Director of the Agency issues an order on awarding the badge by 20 May.

The official award ceremony takes place each year on 1 June, on the eve of the anniversary of the establishment of the Agency.

Recipients of the badge are granted a one-time monetary reward equal to four times the base calculation amount.

The payment of these rewards is financed through the State Social Protection Fund.

In exceptional cases, the award may be granted by a special order of the Director of the Agency.
