Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– Work on the full restoration of energy supply resulting from the accident at the Sardoba reservoir is planned to be completed by 18 May, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

To coordinate work in this direction, the Ministry of Energy and JSC "Regional Electric Networks" created a special headquarters, as well as working groups that are systematically working.

In particular, according to the data as of 14 May, 2 substations, 92 transformer substations, 271.6 km of power lines, 4937 electric poles were repaired and put into operation. 3.8 billion soums were allocated for these purposes.

As a result, 7 thousand 432 of 7 thousand 987 households in which there were power outages were fully provided with electricity.

Of the 12 settlements affected by the flood, 10 are already fully provided with a stable supply of electricity.

Also, a network schedule and a program of measures to repair electrical equipment damaged by the flood were developed and are being implemented.
