Principle of school, where children were beaten, detained

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Principle of the specialized school No. 64 in Samarkand, where children were beaten, was detained, the Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan said.

Prosecutor-General’s Office of Uzbekistan said it received an appeal from a woman, in which she alleged that her son was beaten in the specialized school for boys No 64 in Samarkand.

The case taken under special control of the General Prosecutor’s Office. Pre-investigation checks showed that school principle Sh.Sadinov and others intentionally committed acts, exceeding their official powers during educational process and cruelly treated three children at the age of 17, 12 and 15 and injured them allegedly for their failure to comply with the rules internal routine.

According to the conclusion of the Samarkand regional bureau of forensic medical examination dated 23 July 2018, the son of the women, who submitted appeal to prosecutors body, had a number of injuries on his body.

Within the framework of the criminal case, experts of the regional forensic medical examination bureau conducted a medical examination of 89 inmates of the boarding school, as well as outpatient cards of pupils, which were seized on the basis of protocols.

Public prosecutor of the city of Samarkand opened a criminal case against principle of the school and other people on 23 July.

The principle of the boarding school Sh. Sadinov was detained.
