Prime Minister of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan

The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov arrived in Kyrgyzstan on 16 August.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

President Almazbek Atambayev noted huge contribution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieyev to strengthening the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation. He expressed confidence that the visit of the head of the Government of Uzbekistan will give a new impetus to further development of bilateral relations based on traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, principles of mutually beneficial partnership.

Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said the readiness of the leadership of Uzbekistan to continue to pursue a course, aimed at strengthening the relations of friendship and good-neighborliness between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
