Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from 8 to 10 June 2025.

According to the visit agenda, high-level talks are scheduled to take place in the city of Tashkent. The two sides will discuss key issues related to the development of comprehensive Uzbek-Slovak cooperation.

Particular attention during the talks will be given to expanding partnerships in priority areas such as trade, investment and innovation, agriculture, industry, energy, and tourism. Prospects for collaboration in the field of organized labor migration, as well as cultural, humanitarian, and educational exchange, will also be on the agenda.

The parties will exchange views on pressing international issues, including mutual support within multilateral platforms.

Following the visit, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed, aimed at strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

As part of his visit, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will also participate in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
