Prime Minister of Jordan Meets Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Jordan’s Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Jaafar Hassan, held a meeting on Tuesday with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Defense, Major General Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov, Jordan News Agency reported.

The two sides emphasized the high level of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation across various sectors.

The meeting followed last month’s talks between King Abdullah II of Jordan and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during which a number of cooperation agreements were signed.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed prospects for deepening cooperation, sharing expertise, and expanding training programs in the defense sector.
