Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, arrived in Uzbekistan on 28 May for an official visit.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally welcomed the distinguished guest at Samarkand International Airport.

In honor of the Prime Minister of Italy, the national flags of Uzbekistan and Italy were raised, and an honor guard was assembled.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for 29 May. The program includes high-level negotiations as well as a series of bilateral activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
