Prices for electricity to grow in Uzbekistan from 1 April

According to Uzbekenergo, new prices for electricity were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekenergo said that the cost for 1 KWH electricity will grow from 167.4 soums to 182 soums. The growth rate makes up 8%.

The tariffs are changed in connection with the growth of prices for fuel-energy resources, the Uzbekenergo said. Last time, Uzbekistan increased prices for electricity in October 2015.
