Prices for electricity hikes in Uzbekistan

According to Uzbekenergo, new prices for electricity were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekenergo said that the cost for 1 KWH electricity will grow from 131.4 soums to 144.3 soums. The growth rate makes up 9.81%.

The cost of for 1 KWH electricity at houses, equipped with electric ovens, will increase from 65.7 soums to 72.15 soums (+9.81%).

Last time, Uzbekistan increased prices for electricity on 1 April 2014.
