Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 May 2020, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, took part in an online video conference on Afghanistan.

The event was also attended by special representatives for Afghanistan, Qatar, Germany, Norway and Indonesia.

During the conversation, international efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis, as well as the speedy launch of peaceful inter-Afghan negotiations, were discussed.

A thorough exchange of views took place on priority directions for rendering all-round assistance to Afghanistan, especially in the context of a pandemic.
