Presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan to Hold Trilateral Summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will hold the first-ever trilateral summit in the city of Khujand on 31 March. This was announced by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, during a high-level meeting at the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.

According to Baisalov, the upcoming summit marks a significant step in fostering regional cooperation and strengthening good-neighborly relations among Central Asian nations. He also noted that Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have finalized the settlement of their shared border, calling it a major diplomatic achievement.

“This moment can be regarded as a historic triumph of diplomacy and political will. We have demonstrated that even the most complex issues can be resolved through constructive dialogue, mutual respect, and trust,” Baisalov emphasized.
