In the Palace of the President of Turkey, the official welcoming ceremony of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place.

In honor of the honored guest an honor guard was built. State anthems of Uzbekistan and Turkey were performed. Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan went around the guard of honor.

After the ceremony, the heads of the two countries met in a narrow format. The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed prospects for development of cooperation between the countries and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
