Presidents of Uzbekistan and Paraguay Sign Joint Statement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following negotiations in Tashkent, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Paraguay, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Santiago Peña, signed a joint statement outlining the directions of bilateral cooperation.

In the presence of both leaders, a Protocol on the completion of negotiations regarding market access within the framework of Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO was also signed, along with a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing an interministerial mechanism for political consultations between the two countries.
