Presidential resolution on measures to develop agricultural cooperation in the fruit and vegetable industry adopted
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution “On measures to develop agricultural cooperation in the fruit and vegetable industry” was adopted.
According to the document, the institute of a cooperative association of independent and interrelated agricultural enterprises, farms and dekhkan farms, as well as owners of personal plots on the basis of the principles of voluntary participation and share participation will be created.
As an experiment, in 2019-2020, agricultural associations will be created for the production, harvesting, storage and sale of fruits and vegetables in Gallyaral, Zaamin, Bulungur, Urgut, Altyarik, Kuva, Kibray and Parkent districts for joint activities;
Before 1 December 2020, a proposal will be made on the advisability of spreading the institution of a cooperative association of agricultural associations in other regions of the republic.
Farm associations, dekhkan farms and owners of homestead lands, as well as other individuals and legal entities operating in the fruit and vegetable industry on a voluntary basis by introducing membership fees, may be members (shareholders) of agricultural associations.
The powers transferred by the members of the agricultural association directly to the agricultural association are defined in the constituent documents, the Ministry of Justice said.
At the same time, on the remaining issues, the members of the agricultural association retain their economic independence and legal status in the conduct of their economic activities, and the relationship between the agricultural association and its members are built on a contractual basis.
Land plots of members of agricultural associations are not subject to optimization and seizure. In cases stipulated by the Land Code, the land acquisition of members of agricultural associations is carried out exclusively by a court decision.
Agricultural associations independently decide on the placement of crops and their subsequent basis.
