President wishes good luck to athletes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a visit to a new water sports complex in Karshi to familiarize himself with conditions created here.

The building, built next to Vatanparvarlar Park, has a unique architectural solution. Externally, it looks like a bird spread its wings in flight. In one of the “wings” there are swimming pools for boys, in the other – for girls. Modern conditions of the complex increase the interest of parents and children in water sports.

The complex also has facilities for changing clothes, a first-aid center, a fitness room and a canteen.

The President talked with young athletes and their coaches, wished them good luck at the next championships.
