President: Three mobile handsets fall to one family

Number of mobile communication users in Uzbekistan makes up 19 million people, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said on Friday, 6 December 2013.
Speaking at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 21st anniversary of Constitution of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov said that there are three mobile phones per family.
According to the President of Uzbekistan, number of internet users in Uzbekistan grew by 18.3% compared to 2012 and reached 7.1 million people.
