President signs amendments to some laws

The document was passed by Legislative Chamber on 20 March 2013 and approved by Senate on 28 March 2013. The law came into force on 1 May 2013.

The document introduces changes and amendments to Air Code of Uzbekistan, Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, Labour Code of Uzbekistan, Civil Procedural Code of Uzbekistan, Customs Code of Uzbekistan, Code of administrative responsibility.

It also introduces changes and amendments to law “On standardization”, law “On banking and banking activities”, law “On natural monopolies”, law “On licensing separate types of activities”, law “On insurance activities”, law “On microcredit organizations”, etc.

The changes and amendments will further boost business activity, improve business environment, strengthen legal protection of businesses, reform judicial-legal system, strengthen family institute.
