President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Visits Old City of Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his working trip to the Bukhara region, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the historical part of the city.

The head of state held warm conversations with residents and tourists present in the historical center, discussing the ongoing transformations in the region.

As part of the visit, the President was provided with detailed information on the work being carried out to preserve Bukhara’s rich cultural heritage and maintain its authentic historical appearance. The presentation also covered plans for the further improvement of the urban environment and the modernization of infrastructure to support the city's growing status as a global tourism hub.

Earlier, it was noted that a dedicated administrative management system would be introduced in the historical center of Bukhara in strict accordance with UNESCO standards to ensure the sustainable protection of its world-renowned monuments.
