President proposes to return monument to Sabir Rakhimov to its former place

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyokv proposed to return a monument to Sabir Rakhimov to its former place. On 2 May, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this at a meeting in the Naryn district of Namangan region.
The head of Uzbekistan said that the return of the monument to Sabir Rakhimov will be restoration of historical justice.
Earlier, the monument was located in front of the building of the khokimiyat of Sabir-Rakhimov district of Tashkent. At the end of 2010 the district was renamed Almazar district.
