President pays visit to Krantas plant in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Krantas Group plant in Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city on 29 June 2017 and familiarized himself with production of construction machinery.
Currently, the enterprise produces over 60 types of special machineries – truck cranes, crane manipulators, tanker trucks for transportation of fuel and acids, communal equipment, auto repair shops, auto hydraulic lifters.
Krantas Group is planning to master production of truck cranes with capacity of 100 tonnes and tower cranes of 8 tonnes capacity in 2017-2018. The plant plans to export products for US$5 million in 2017.
Uzbek head examined the samples of special machinery and observed production process at the plant.
President gave his instructions on expanding localization of production of special machinery and decreasing imports, as well as training specialists.
