Saidov noted that the President of Uzbekistan made a proposal to hold a forum on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at a meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein in New York.

The director of the National Center for Human Rights recalled that the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights will be celebrated in 2018.
