According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, during the trip the head of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the program of long-term development of the preschool education system in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and paid a visit to preschool educational institution No. 8 of Chimbay district.

The President also visited the academic lyceum attached to the Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University. In the educational institution, the head of state got acquainted with the land reclamation state, agricultural machinery and projects containing innovations in the pharmaceutical industry.

Here, the President met and talked with the region’s active people and intelligentsia, farmers and entrepreneurs, as well as youth representatives.

President also visited Takhiatash district, where he got acquainted with the economic potential and created conditions for investors in the newly organized small industrial zone "Takhiatash".

Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked with entrepreneurs. He was presented with the Program for development of regional industrial zones for 2018-2020 and projects for production of building materials.

The President was presented with the organization of the activities of modern enterprises on the basis of free and inefficiently used public facilities.

Uzbek President also got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the Center for Agro-Industrial Logistics in Khodjeylinsky district.

The Center for Agro-Industrial Logistics is implementing innovative projects for processing and storing agricultural products, setting up the activities of modern greenhouses, efficient use of household land, development of livestock, poultry and fish farming.
