Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Islam Karimov Square in Moscow, which is located near the embassy of our country.

The head of state laid flowers at the foot of the monument and paid tribute to the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan - a prominent statesman and politician, the great son of our people.

Islam Karimov, with his multifaceted political activity, noble human qualities, left an indelible mark on the centuries-old history of his homeland.

In honor of the outstanding personality, who gained great respect and authority not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the international community, a monument was erected in Moscow on 18 October 2018.
