Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Afsonalar Vodiysi recreation and culture park in Namangan occupies 155 hectares of land. A project worth 123 million dollars is being implemented here.
During a trip to Namangan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work done in the park and talked with visitors.
The head of state got acquainted with the project of the park in May 2018, then he emphasized the need to comply with the latest requirements in its construction. During last year’s arrival in Namangan, the President followed the progress of work and gave relevant instructions on their quality implementation.
Over the past period, large-scale creative work has been carried out here. When the partially-commissioned culture and leisure park is fully operational, it will be able to serve 600 thousand guests a year.
At present, there are theme parks with 16 types of attractions, an amphitheater with 2,400 seats, 7 types of water attractions and a water park with 16 pools, 2 modern waterfalls and music fountains, 3 restaurants, 2 parking lots for 1800 places. By March 2022, it is planned to launch a center of artisans, a mosque, a hotel with 400 beds and 110 villas.
Today, 600 workers are working in the park, a total of 1,500 jobs are planned to be created.
- Two years ago, I got acquainted with the project of the park and suggested calling it “Afsonalar Vodiysi” (“Valley of Legends”). It turned out to be a park worthy of its name. We will create many more such modern holiday destinations throughout the country,” the head of state said.
