President of Uzbekistan to visit Russia in February

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev plans to visit Russia in February 2020. This was announced at the fourth meeting of the Uzbek-Russian Business Council on Tuesday by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sadyk Safayev.

The senator noted that this visit will be another step in strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

He added that in January-September 2019, trade between the two countries exceeded US$4 billion, which is 10% higher than last year’s figures for the same period.
