President of Uzbekistan to Visit Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is planning an official visit to Japan, according to Saida Mirziyoeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, via Telegram.

Saida Mirziyoeva held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan, Kenji Hirata. The discussion focused on preparations for the upcoming visit of the Uzbek head of state and the preliminary agenda for bilateral talks.

“We discussed preparations for the forthcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Japan and the preliminary bilateral agenda,” Mirziyoeva noted.

The Head of the Presidential Administration also expressed gratitude to the Japanese government for its support of projects in education, healthcare, and cultural initiatives, including planned exhibitions in Tokyo and Osaka.
