Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will visit Saint Petersburg at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to participate in the CIS and EAEU summits on 25–26 December.

During the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend an informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as well as the next session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, where Uzbekistan is represented as an observer.

The summits will focus on discussing key issues related to deepening mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the CIS and the EAEU. The agenda will include reviewing the results of joint work and exchanging views on priority areas of cooperation for the coming year.
