President of Uzbekistan Supports Plans to Expand Partnership with Boeing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In New York, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with Brendan Nelson, President of Boeing Global.

During the meeting, the parties welcomed the long-standing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and one of the world’s leading aerospace companies. Particular attention was given to the timely implementation of the contract signed during the visit for the delivery of Boeing aircraft, as well as the agreement on long-term cooperation.

It should be recalled that Boeing and Uzbekistan Airways announced the largest order in the history of the national carrier: the country’s flagship airline plans to acquire up to 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, marking an important stage in the modernization of its long-haul fleet.
