Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on accession to international treaties on 20 March.

According to the document, Uzbekistan joined the agreement of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on cooperation in the field of work with youth.

The agreement was adopted at a meeting of the CIS Intergovernmental Council in Moscow on 25 November 2005. On 19 May 2011, the document was amended in accordance with the protocol.

The document is aimed at strengthening and developing cooperation in working with youth, supporting initiatives of state bodies and youth organizations to intensify ties in the commonwealth space. The parties to the agreement commit themselves to create favorable conditions for this.
