President of Uzbekistan receives Minister of National Defense of Turkey

Nurettin Canikli arrived in Uzbekistan with an official visit.

Uzbek leader with satisfaction underlined ntensification of contacts at various levels and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries with satisfaction.

During the conversation, the sides considered prospects of military and military-technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

Establishment of a practical partnership between the ministries of defense of Uzbekistan and Turkey, including implementation of joint programs in the field of military education is defined as one of the important areas.

Minister of National Defense of Turkey Nurettin Canikli conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He highly appreciated the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at increasing the potential of the Armed Forces and strengthening the country’s defense capability, as well as emphasized readiness of the Turkish side to develop full-scale cooperation between the two states.
