President of Uzbekistan receives Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan

Saken Zhasuzakov arrived in Uzbekistan on 17 August with a two-day official visit.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the dynamically developing fruitful cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

During the conversation, the sides discussed development of effective cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries, including in the sphere of industrial cooperation and the training of military personnel.

Defense Minister Saken Zhasuzakov stressed interest and readiness to strengthen the Uzbek-Kazakhstan mutually beneficial partnership in the military and military-technical spheres.
