Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the effective activity of the Uzbek-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission and expressed satisfaction with the practical results of its work.
The Commission, headed by the first deputy prime ministers of the two countries, has so far held 17 meetings, including the last one - in Astana in March 2017. Today in the first half of the day in Tashkent, the working negotiations of the co-chairs of the Commission were held.
The President stressed the importance of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and joint implementation of promising projects and programs in the trade and economic, investment, transport, communication, humanitarian and other spheres.
Askar Mamin confirmed the readiness of the Kazakh side to develop and deepen the full-scale partnership between the two fraternal countries in order to unconditionally and timely implement the agreements at the highest level.
