Rogozin arrived in Uzbekistan on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev said with deep satisfaction that a regular and productive dialogue at the highest levels contributes to strengthening of the Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and alliance relations, as well as their filling with concrete practical content.
The sides discussed issues of practical implementation of agreements on further expansion of trade, economic, investment and military-technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The parties underlined importance of strengthening industrial cooperation between the leading enterprises and companies of the two countries, aimed at the speedy advancement of joint prospective programs and innovative projects.
Dmitry Rogozin expressed his deep gratitude to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for warm welcome and conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
