President of Uzbekistan plans to visit France in October 2018

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev plans to visit France in October 2018.

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to prepare and conduct cultural and humanitarian events during the visit to France at the highest level”.

The resolution approved a “road map” for preparation of the cultural and humanitarian part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France.

A working group has been set up to implement the measures, envisaged in the road map.

The government approved the proposal to establish a French Cultural Center under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the form of a state institution. The center’s office will be located in Tashkent.
