President of Uzbekistan Meets with Chairman of HRL Group

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the ongoing Uzbekistan–Pakistan business forum in Islamabad, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with Zahid Rafiq, Chairman of HRL Group.

HRL Group is one of Pakistan’s largest companies, specializing in construction, mining, and energy sectors.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for jointly conducting geological surveys of promising copper, gold, and critical mineral deposits in Pakistan using Uzbek expertise and technology.

President Mirziyoyev highly appreciated the proposed initiatives, including the construction of the Imam Bukhari complex in Islamabad and the development of a hotel in Samarkand, emphasizing their importance for advancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
