President of Uzbekistan Meets Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Upon arrival at his designated residence in Islamabad, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was received by Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar briefed the Uzbek President on the busy schedule of planned bilateral events.

President Mirziyoyev highlighted the Deputy Prime Minister’s significant role in organizing the current state visit.

Both sides expressed confidence that the upcoming high-level negotiations and the inaugural session of the Supreme Strategic Cooperation Council will bring new practical depth to the Uzbekistan–Pakistan strategic partnership.
