As the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to the President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto.

“With deep sorrow, I received the sad news about devastating earthquake in Mexico, which led to numerous human casualties,” the message of the President of Uzbekistan reads.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his sincere condolences and conveyed the words of sympathy and support to the entire Mexican people, as well as to the families and friends of the victims and injured people.

On Tuesday, a strong earthquake occurred in southern Mexico. As a result of the incident, about 290 people were killed.
